LIFT's DataBridge is a fast, simple, and free way to contribute to the LIFT network. DataBridge operates seamlessly in the background of your web browser, using a small amount of unused computing power to reward you with DataGold.
The full computing power of most devices is rarely utilized and often sits idle. Even devices handling the most demanding tasks remain unused during off-peak periods. LIFT allows users to get rewarded for this idle computing power with no noticeable change in performance.
By operating a DataBridge, you contribute a small amount of computing power towards training AI models and participate in the next generation of AI. In exchange for this contribution, you earn rewards. LIFT only ever uses a small amount of your computing power and by default cannot see anything happening on your computer.
Your LIFT DataBridge will automatically begin running once installed allowing you to begin earning DataGold immediately. DataBridge is designed to use as little computing power as possible and as LIFT only ever uses idle computing power, you will never experience any reduction in the speed of your device.
The LIFT DataBridge extension is available to download from the Chrome Web Store.
Stream to Earn is an additional opt-in service that doubles your DataGold. Stream to Earn helps the LIFT AI better understand live content like Twitch and YouTube live streams, by sharing periodic screenshots of this content with LIFT. To enable Stream to Earn users opt-in to sharing their screen with LIFT in a privacy preserving way. Stream to Earn never shares any personally identifiable information with LIFT.
Privacy is critically important to LIFT and by default the DataBridge extension doesn’t access your screen and will never have access to any personally identifiable information. If Stream to Earn is enabled, your screen will be periodically captured, however no personally identifiable information will ever leave your device.
All screen capture occurs locally on your device and any sensitive data is removed before being sent to LIFT. Sensitive fields such as credit card inputs are automatically rejected from capture by the model, ensuring they aren't processed by the model or shared with LIFT.
